How Farheen kick started her Career with Unilever
From big to small, one step at time
I came in as a Marketing Trainee and I’ve been on brands and I’ve been in marketing ever since. Initially I did a very small brand called Planta. Since then, I’ve been working on the Skin Portfolio.

I am handling what we call the Skin Portfolio. It has personal wash items on one side which include the soaps, so Lux and Lifeboy come into that and on the other end it has the creams, so I also take care of Ponds and Fair and Lovely.
My proudest moment at Unilever
My ten long years at Unilever can be summarised in one simple quote: “If you love your job, you’ll never have to work another day in your life”

- MBA from Institute of Business Administration 1994 till 1997

- Reading, from biographies to current affairs journals to glam glossy magazines
