It is vital for Unilever to have people with the right talent, skills and creativity to support our growth ambitions. To ensure our long-term prosperity, we want everyone to be healthy, motivated and committed. As part of our Sustainable Living Plan, we have set ourselves new targets for creating a better workplace. These include reducing workplace injuries and accidents and improving employee health and nutrition. To ensure the health and vitality of our employees we decided that a holistic approach was the need of the day and thus, we undertook a massive health check and awareness campaign which we named The Personal Vitality Programme. This provided a broader as well as detailed picture of the health status of people working with the company. The data lead to working on an action plan to achieve healthy, energized and motivated people to drive business for growth along with enjoying a healthy living.
