Grant Scheme
Unilever Pakistan launched its Annual Grant Schemes in 2008 for community projects. This is an annual program to make a positive contribution to the improvement of living standard of the Pakistani people and to bring to reality Unilever’s Vitality Mission.
With the main focus on hygiene, nutrition and economic sustainability Unilever Pakistan Limited will sponsor organizations working on initiatives or projects in these areas. Eligible organizations should demonstrate their full commitment and determination to completely deliver the target outcomes of their project.
Every year Unilever will sponsor 5-10 project. Applications are accepted from February – June 2008 provided they fall within the set criteria set for the scheme
Projects supported in 2008
Unilever Pakistan announced the 5 community projects chosen by our panel of judges, which are focused in the areas of water filtration, health and hygiene promotion for mothers and sustainable development for children. These projects will effect and improve the lives of 600 students at Dhononaro, Town of Ibrahim Hyderi, 200 mothers and 1600 children at Deh Khanto-Jati-Thatta, 8500 citizens of villages Baist Khel and Harama Thala, and over 200 families at Gujrawala.
The NGO’s will submit their project reports on a quarterly basis and at the completion of the project, for evaluation and record, based on which they will be presented the Unilever Grant Scheme Certificate & Plaque.

- Intensive Learning Programme for Children by Youth Development Organization
- Installation of Water Desalination Plant by Society for Environmental Awareness
- Mother and Child Care by Association for Humanitarian Development
- Water Supply Scheme by Sarhad Rural Development Organization
- Drilling Installation of 0.5 CUSEC Tube well by Roshni Homes
