  1. These terms and conditions are applicable for the "Lifebuoy Shampoo MOTHER’s DAY Campaign". The Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) Campaign starts in April 2014.

  2. The Campaign is open for the callers who are citizens of Pakistan.

  3. The Campaign is being conducted by Symmetry (hereinafter referred to as "Technology Partner") on behalf of Unilever Pakistan Limited ("UPL").

  4. To participate the consumer should give a MISS call to “8282” The consumer will then get a call back (OBD) which is an Interactive Voice Recording System ("IVRS"). Landline numbers will not receive the OBD calls as this Campaign is only for mobile calls.

  5. Participants will get to record a message for their Mother and tell her how she has been their strength. This message will be played back to their Mother during the duration of this Campaign.

  6. Participants will get 20-30 seconds to record their message through the IVRS.

  7. Top 50 messages would receive prizes by UPL and the selection of these top 50 messages would solely rest on UPL’s discretion.  All users who participate will have an option of getting a free Lifebuoy Shampoo Ringtone.

  8. Only clearly recorded voice messages would be eligible for competition.

  9. Prizes include Return tickets for two to Dubai (airline selection at the discretion of UPL), Mobile phones and IPods.

  10. On receipt of the response through a call on the IVRS, the same shall be thoroughly checked and verified by the Technology Partner.

  11. Participation in the Campaign shall be voluntary and no purchase of the product shall be mandatory for such participation therein. By participating in this Campaign, the participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions available on www.Unilever.pk website as well as the decisions of UPL and/or the IVRS Partner and/or the On-Ground Activation Partner, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Campaign.

  12. All entries to the Campaign will be received only by way of IVRS system/Voice Call and no communication by any other mode will be valid and considered for registration to this Campaign.

  13. The IVRS services are being managed by the Technology Partner. Once the message is received and recorded, the rights on the same shall vest with UPL; the caller by recording the message consents to further use of the same, with the name of the participant, for any promotional or such other purposes  by UPL. However any information provided therein by the participants shall remain with UPL and shall not be transmitted further unless on a need to know basis or under a subpoena.

  14. UPL or its Technology Partner shall not be responsible if for some reason the participant is unable to connect to the said number.

  15. Inability to connect to the 8282 could be due to various reasons such as network congestion, participant being out of coverage area, network unavailable, third party dependency, etc.

  16. UPL shall not be responsible for misdirected calls or loss of call while punching the response/ story in IVRS. Proof of calling is not proof of receipt of the call.

  17. This Campaign will be conducted in Urdu.

  18. There is no entry fee for participating in this Campaign; Participants are therefore cautioned to beware of anyone soliciting payments for entry to this program.

  19. UPL reserves the right to alter, modify or change any Terms and Conditions herein or modify/change, discontinue, terminate, withdraw the Campaign at any time during the Campaign Period at its sole discretion without prior notice or assigning any reason.

  20. Each user can participate maximum 3 times in the Campaign.

  21. By participating in the Campaign, the participant expressly agrees to receive calls and messages from UPL about any promotional offers, campaigns, product launches, etc., or for any surveys, consumer studies or product appraisals.

  22. Callers under the age of 18 shall have to give a copy of their guardian’s CNIC and guardian’s consent at the time of receiving any prize under this program.

  23. All recipients of prizes shall have to submit a valid copy of their CNIC.

  24. Unilever Pakistan Limited does not take the responsibility of scanning the messages and the Listener has the option of listening to or ignoring the voice message sent.
